Nothing makes me happier than seeing a pop of colour when typically at this time of year, we see too much grey, black and other neutrals. I love me some black just like the next girl but it's so refreshing to see hints of colour and I'm loving the influence of a great scarf to add that pop! I'm even loving the hints of blush this season (it feels so ballet to me).
It seems to me that holiday dresses are so beautiful but I do really feel like they can sometimes fall into the one-time-wear area. Typically, there is some sparkle or glitter involved and like a bridesmaid dress, where you vow you will wear it again - in the summer - with strappy sandals - let's face it, it's probably not going to happen. The little jewel of a dress will hang in the back of your closet until next holiday, when you shop for the newest and brightest.
Right now, I am loving a great shirt with a jean, some heels or a pencil skirt and some bling to pull it all together. My favorite is the sheer blouse. L-O, L-O, L-O, L-O-V-E! It's so classy and sexy wrapped in a cute little package. I love it tucked into some trouser style jeans or with a dress pant.
